In 1996 the In-Fisherman Magazine set a precedent by publishing a magazine totally committed to Catfish, it's title rightfully named "Catfish Guide." In it's debut, it describes Manitoba's Red River Channel Cat Fishery as being the "Jewel in the Catfish World Crown."

Nowhere else can you compare the size and abundance of these trophy sized channel catfish; proven by the flood of fishing/outdoor writers from around the world.
